Interview on PACS score released!
October 3, 2022Goodbye Carmen – you will be missed!
December 6, 2022Dr. med. Carlo Cervia joined our lab back in 2019 as a MD-PhD student. His initial project on engineered immune cells was set aside once the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic hit Switzerland. As an MD and researcher, Carlo and colleagues were heavily involved in studying the immune response to the novel infection.
In a team effort, he published several papers on the topic and developed an algorithm to calculate the risk for a given patient to develop PACS after an infection using various clinical paramters such as Immunoglobulin levels in the blood of patients.
Congratulations again on your well-defended PhD Carlo!
